If we do not answer the phone, please leave a message and we will return your call usually within an hour between the hours of 7 am and 8 pm, 7 days a week. All voicemail messages are forwarded to Dr. Baird’s cell phone so she can take great care of you, even on the weekends! You can also send an email for a quicker response.
Minor irritation of the lips and cheeks can be a normal process of getting used to new braces for the first few days once. When you started treatment, Dr. Baird gave you a kit that contained orthodontic wax. This can help you handle almost any uncomfortable orthodontic situation. By placing the orthodontic wax over the spot that is either irritating or loose, the problem can be temporarily resolved.

After alleviating your discomfort, it is very important that you still call our office as soon as possible to schedule a time to repair the problem. Allowing your appliance to remain damaged for an extended period of time may result in delaying your treatment.
